AMT represents US companies that produce advanced manufacturing technology, companies that manufacture machinery, related equipment, products or software used in the process of manufacturing discrete durable goods.

Our mission is to guide US manufacturing technology producers in their contacts with their Mexican counterparts, promoting trade and joint initiatives between US & Mexico industrials by:

1.Be the focal point for Mexican customers interested in securing U.S. manufacturing technology, i.e. machine tools and allied products, systems, components, etc.
2.Providing information on Manufacturing Technology to local industrials
3.Facilitate technical support to Mexican customers of AMT members
4.Support local distribution in their continued efforts to improve customer satisfaction.
5.Exchange marketing information between regional companies and AMT members.
6.Provide information on possible joint ventures and licensing opportunities.
7.Identify potential manufacturing reps. or distributors.
8.Arrange/conduct inward and outward marketing missions.
9.Identify potential sources to manufacture machine tool components.
10. Support to AMT members in regional shows
11.Communicate to AMT members regional industry needs
12.Introduce manufacturing technology to local industrials in search for "Lean Manufacturing" technology to integrate to their process.
13.Interface on behalf of the AMT membership with local government agencies, financial institutions and officials.
14.Provide guidance and advice on Mexico's manufacturing technology markets.
